Boost of confidence

Sometimes when I look at the mirror I can only see my flaws. I had two surgeries in my intestines a few years ago. The result of those surgeries was a large scar of 13 stitches across my belly and the fact that my belly can't be totally flat even if I work out. It’s been 5 years since the last surgery and I still can’t get used to it.

Self-acceptance is a hard task. We have to love our body just the way it is, even if there are parts that we’d like to change. I have to be thankful for that scar, because those surgeries saved my life.

Crop tops have always been an impossible to me. But a few weeks ago I said to myself “Why not?” and bought this little pretty crop top. I know that my body is not perfect, but nothing is going to keep me from rocking a cool summer trend.

I’m in the process of liking all of my body, maybe on summer I wear a bikini in public haha.

Now, seriously, we really need to love ourselves, to look at the mirror and like what we see. You are beautiful. Never let someone tell you otherwise.

Honestly, at first, before leaving my house, I was insecure wearing this, but when I realized that I was wearing something that I really liked and that it didn’t look so bad I felt better. I put hot pink lipstick on and a lot of eyeliner and I was good to go. My bf also gave me a boost of confidence, and then, when the time of taking the photos arrived, I felt pretty damn good :)

A veces cuando me miro al espejo solo consigo ver mis defectos. Tuve 2 cirugías en mi intestino hace algunos años. El resultado de esas operaciones fue una enorme cicatriz de 13 puntos que recorre mi panza y que mi vientre no pueda ser totalmente plano aunque haga ejercicio. Pasaron 5 años de la última cirugía y todavía no me acostumbro.

La aceptación personal es una tarea difícil. Tenemos que amar nuestro cuerpo como es, aun si hay partes que nos gustaría cambiar. Tengo que estar agradecida por esa cicatriz porque esas operaciones me salvaron la vida.

Los crop tops siempre fueron un imposible para mi, pero hace unas semanas me dije “por que no?” y me compré este lindo crop top. Se que mi cuerpo no es perfecto, pero nada me va a impedir lucir una buena tendencia.

Estoy en el proceso de amar todo mi cuerpo, tal vez en el verano use bikini en público jaja.

Ahora, fuera de broma, necesitamos amarnos a nosotras mismas, vernos al espejo y gustar de lo que vemos. Vos sos hermosa. Nunca dejes que nadie te diga lo contrario.

La verdad es que, al principio, antes de salir de casa, me sentía insegura con esto puesto, pero después, cuando me di cuenta que estaba usando algo que en verdad me gustaba y que no se veía tan mal, me sentí mejor. Me pinté los labios de fucsia fuerte y me puse mucho delineador y estaba lista.  Mi novio también me lleno de confianza con sus palabras, y luego, cuando el momento de sacarme las fotos llegó, me sentí diosa :)
